HeroMode v7.3 is a visual refresh: a new app icon, a new splash screen, and a rebuilt app homepage. Our pixel-art knight on horseback has retired after four years of service. Instead, a sword-wielding checkbox has taken up the quest. More importantly, the release brings a new welcome flow for first-time heroes, helping them into the saddle quicker.
KOR Vocab: Korean Flashcards is now available in the Apple App Store! It's a flashcards app for learning Korean vocabulary, built with the same philosophy behind HeroMode: make progress in bite-sized pieces, celebrate the micro-wins, and keep the momentum going. If you are learning Korean, or have been meaning to start, we hope you'd give it a try!
Thanks to a couple of wonderful suggestions from a HeroMode user, we have released v6.9 with new motivation features! Break down your big, challenging quests into multiple parts, and get rewarded as you complete each part! In addition, you can now assign more points to each quest, up to 5 points! This also means that a quest can earn up to 5 Piggy Coins! We hope these new features will keep you motivated as you tackle your big goals!
We finally launched HeroMode to Product Hunt! This gave me a chance to describe HeroMode with one of my favorite memes:

HeroMode v6.2 has been released! We now have a Home screen (rebranded from the Quests screen which has been a common source of user confusion), new navigation icons, and better UI for iPad and web. We hope you like it!
We have released HeroMode v6 on the web and Chrome Extension! This is the first phase of our v6 release. We have made the app much faster and smoother. We are also working on new UI elements and new features. Stay tuned!

We have released HeroMode v5.6. In this new release, you can now pin quests to the top of the list for convenient prioritization. Pinned quests stay on top until they are completed or unpinned. We have also split the quest Delete vs Expire buttons. In an upcoming release, we have also implemented the "start quest" button directly into the avatar of the assigned hero of the quest. With all these action buttons available to each quest, you have many ways to organize your tasks and stay focused on what's important.
