In the newly released HeroMode v6.14, we make it easier to add multiple checkboxes in one go. It's so much smoother to add checkboxes, you might end up adding more than you need like I did!
We just rolled out HeroMode v6.14 on the web, and the iOS update will also come out over the next few days. In this new release, we make it easier to add multiple checkboxes in one go!
Before: Why So Many Clicks?
I'm surprised how much I use checkboxes in HeroMode. Maybe I'm way too into organizing my tasks, but being able to break down a quest into subtasks with checkboxes is really satisfying.
But when I add a quest with multiple checkboxes, the process can be very tedious. For example, one of the most common quests I regularly create is for grocery list. For every item, I create a checkbox. And as you can see (and maybe have experienced yourself!), this is can be quite irritating. I have to save each checkbox, and click "Add Checkbox" again and again.
Now: A More Fluid Experience
With v6.14, we've made it easier to add multiple checkboxes in one go. Now, with each checkbox, you have the option to "Add More", which brings back a new checkbox for you to populate.
I tried it out when I was making my weekend grocery list, and it's really a much more pleasant experience. So pleasant that I kept adding items, and probably bought more than I really needed.
