Our HeroMode blog is powered by Docusaurus, and we have added customizations over time to make it more dynamic and interactive. Previously we had added blog reactions to each blog post. For each blog, the post author can decide which emojis to include, as well as their titles. In this post, I describe how to add animations to the react titles, so that they truly feel like the Easter eggs that they are!

We have released HeroMode v5.6. In this new release, you can now pin quests to the top of the list for convenient prioritization. Pinned quests stay on top until they are completed or unpinned. We have also split the quest Delete vs Expire buttons. In an upcoming release, we have also implemented the "start quest" button directly into the avatar of the assigned hero of the quest. With all these action buttons available to each quest, you have many ways to organize your tasks and stay focused on what's important.

We are announcing the release of HeroMode version 5.5, which adds the final pieces to the new user onboarding experience update. We've improved the introduction sliders to better highlight the app, added zero-state usage hints to help new users get started, and introduced information centers to provide relevant functional details when necessary. Together with the adventure templates and the in-app contact support feature, we hope new and existing users alike will find it easier to use HeroMode. We're constantly striving to make HeroMode a task management system that's fun, engaging, and motivating, and we hope these updates are a big step in that direction!

We've been taught to manage time with sophisticated tools and frameworks. And we should; time is a precious and limited resource. But what about another resource that has proven to be a key driver to productivity, motivation? In today's post, we explore why motivation management is the rising star in the productivity conversation. And of course, it has something to do with AI!

We have just released several new features for HeroMode that are sure to bring even more joy and excitement to the platform! From the addition of background music and sound effects, to the replacement of the "Memento" feature with "Quest Notes," we are continuously improving HeroMode to meet the needs of our users. The Info Centers are another addition that provides helpful tips and information to maximize your HeroMode experience. And let's not forget the Piggy Rewards System, which has now been made a core feature of HeroMode. All these updates are now available on web, chrome extension, and iOS, so make sure to check them out and let us know what you think!

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about the Piggy Rewards System as a motivator. But fast forward a month after the Piggy release, I've completely changed my mind! I find myself more motivated and having more fun being productive. Each week, I work hard to earn those Piggy coins, and on the weekend, I splurge on Piggy rewards like video games and desserts. To quantitatively verify how Piggy has changed my productivity, I did some data analysis using HeroMode's points and coins data. I'm now fully a Piggy convert!

I recently launched a little game called "Yaaker!". It's a side project that developed over the course of several months. I had to overcome some technical challenges, and pick up new skills. Along the way, HeroMode has been very helpful:

• It helped me stay organized on the project tasks
• It helped me convert little chunks of free time into project progress that adds up
• It helped me stay motivated with points, rewards, and activity calendar

I don't think I would've been able to take this project from an idea to a finished product without HeroMode!
