I'm excited to share that we've released a new "Contact Support" feature as part of our effort to revamp the onboarding experience of HeroMode! With this feature, users can easily get in touch with us directly whenever they need help or have suggestions on how to make HeroMode better. We also have more improvements coming soon, such as an Introduction Slider, Tour Guide, and Information Center, to make it easier for both new and existing users to find the information they need and discover new features.
We are currently working on revamping the onboarding experience of HeroMode. There are many improvements involved, so we will be rolling them out as each is ready. However, as part of this effort to provide users with support whenever they might need it, we have released a new "Contact Support" feature!
Help is Just a Click Away
One of the most common feedbacks we get from our users is that, at the first glance, HeroMode seems to do a lot, but it's not clear how to use it. Even for our most experienced users, many of the functionalities are not easy to discover.
While we have prepared a HeroGuide to document HeroMode in detail, let's be honest, even we don't read the manual when using a new app. We just want to get started and figure things out as we go.
So we have a lot planned to make HeroMode easier to use, but in the meantime, we also want our users to have a direct line of communication with us. Much of HeroMode is built on user feedback and suggestions, so we'd like to open up a convenient way for every user to reach out to us.
So in the recently released v5.0, we have added a "Contact Support" button!

Whenever you have a question, or need help with something, or have a suggestion on how we can make HeroMode better, just click on the "Contact Support" button. Then you can send us your message, and we will get back to you as soon as we can!
The "Contact Support" feature is released as part of HeroMode v5.0, and is already available on web and chrome extension. We will be releasing it on iOS in the coming weeks, as soon as we complete testing it.
More Onboarding Improvements Coming Soon
What else do we have planned for the onboarding experience? There is a lot! And it's not just for brand new users, we also want to make it easier for existing users to find the information they need, as well as to discover new features. So here are some of the things we are working on:
Introduction Slider: We will be updating the new user introduction slider with new materials that better provide a high-level overview of HeroMode.
Tour Guide: When a new user first signs in, instead of the "New Hero Orientation" Adventure, which we have removed, we will run a short interactive tour guide to highlight the different screens. We learned this while making a little game called Yaaker!
Information Center: Both Introduction Slider and Tour Guide are Day 1 experiences, and they are meant to be short and sweet. For more in-depth feature descriptions, we will be adding an "Information Center" within each screen. Such information will, we hope, be useful for both new and existing users.
HeroMode News: We announce new feature releases in this HeroMode blog, but many users don't know about it. So we will be adding a "HeroMode News" section directly within the App, where users can get a glance of the most recent posts, and stay up-to-date with not just new features, but also HeroMode use cases and joyful productivity tips.
As always, if you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
