HeroMode v2.3 is now available in the App Store!

• Brand new navigation icons
• Streak counts are now available!
• Alerts have a new style to prepare us for desktop launch!
• Quests can have zero points!

We build HeroMode to help us manage all aspects of our work and life. We use HeroMode for everything ranging from project & task management, to structuring study & productivity sessions, to building healthy daily habits and routines.

Here are some ways I use HeroMode.

HeroMode v2.2 is now available in the App Store!

• Expired Quests are now available
• Stats and activity calendars got an update: you can now get monthly stats

We have added Expired Quests to HeroMode!

With this new functionality, you can mark a quest as expired instead of deleting it. For example, for a quest that you just can't get to, and you'd like to keep it in the record and track the stats.

Expired Quests, along with other updates on Stats and Activity Calendars, will be available in the next release!

HeroMode can be used in many different ways, including staying focused and productive at work. In today's post, a beta user describes how she uses HeroMode's repeat quests to schedule multiple "productivity hours" throughout each work day.

We have added a lot of new functionalities to make getting stuff done more joyful:

• Activity Calendars: see patterns and trends of all your efforts
• Adventure Milestones: track progress and celebrate reaching your goals
• Quest Checkboxes: deeper organization of subtasks
• Pause & Resume a repeat quest: take a break when you are on a break
• Copy a quest: easily repeat a quest one time

We also use HeroMode to stay healthy, be active, and eat better. HeroMode helps maintain these daily habits by

• automatically creating repeat quests to keep the Cue → Routine → Reward loop going
• adapting to our lives with flexibility

• leveraging social power with adventure buddies

HeroMode can also be used as a project management tool. For example, we have been using HeroMode to manage the software development process of HeroMode. It allows us to:

• Manage our tasks in a motivating way
• Prioritize what we need to do with sorting and quest locking
• Record notes and screenshots with Mementos
• Visualize progress with points stats and activity calendar
• Create milestones to celebrate all meaningful moments

HeroMode can be used in many different ways: to organize tasks, track habits, and even manage learning goals. Here we showcase an example usage of HeroMode for language and vocabulary learning.

We are getting ready to release HeroMode v2! In this release, we are adding a bunch of new functionalities, including:

We are very excited to get HeroMode v2 out into the world. It'll be available September 2022.
